5 REASONS TO SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER

5 REASONS TO SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER

1.- SOCIAL NETWORKS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE DYING.

The honest, unfiltered photo is losing ground to manipulated video. The emergence of social networks that make us see reels has a lot to do with the casino slot machine system. There are studies that affirm that they cancel the critical part of our brain and those infinite reels make us push ourselves to want more and more. There is no end, it is our impulsiveness that governs us. The "GAFA" (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple) have hit the nail on the head and know how to manipulate us. If you think that you enter social networks to inform yourself, you are wrong. They don't want you to see photos that don't make you feel like you're in a bubble of well-being. That does not benefit them. A newsletter gives you the information that you voluntarily want when subscribing, not the information that others want you to receive.

2.- YOU WILL HAVE BETTER INFORMATION ABOUT MY WORK.

The communication channels of a lifetime require more effort compared to the slot machines that are social networks; require more time. However, we obtain more information and our brain captures and memorizes all of it better according to the latest studies. The information that comes to you by newsletter is better and of higher quality, because it requires more time and dedication to create it than posting a photo. In my work, quality always prevails over quantity, which is why I cannot feed a social network on a daily basis. Less if what I put is less and less visible each day.

3.- YOU ARE NOT FEEDING THE SOCIAL NETWORK "MONSTER".

According to Jaron Lanier, social networks make you an idiot and I agree with him. With your mere presence in them you are causing their profits to rise in a very unfair way, your data is not yours and they speculate with them in opaque markets. Social networks know more about you than you do about yourself. There is no good social network. With my newsletter I give you the word that your data will be safe from any multinational, I don't even use a program in the cloud. I will send them to you from my personal email. It will be direct communication, from you to you. Almost a face to face.

4.- YOU CAN SEE MY PICTURES IN BETTER QUALITY.

I always treat my images with great care. I take photos with smartphone, digital and analog cameras of 35mm and 6x6. I pamper them so that they have that quality that I desire. My newsletters are not mere emails with content about my work, they are 4-page magazines in PDF format where I like to explain in a very personal way what has happened in front of my camera and what I have done to capture it honestly.

5.- THERE IS NO FREEDOM INSIDE ANY SOCIAL NETWORK.

There is no freedom within social networks. People believe that they are free within them, but nothing is further from the truth. Several independent journalistic investigations have shown that they manipulate on a large scale (does Cambridge Analytics sound familiar to you? If not, you should inform yourself about it). Censorship is not just that action that the "moderators" do by making a nipple disappear from a woman's breast or some genital. It is also important to hide the photos that show that injustices occur around the world, as many of my photos show, and to give priority to the advertisement of sunglasses worn by the Kardashians. With my newsletters I want to feel free to say what I want to say, expressing myself as I need to express myself, and to say it precisely to you, that I hope that by the time you get here you will already have a clearer idea that you will not find me on social networks because they make you an asshole .

So, if you want to have news about my work and ongoing projects, just fill the form and I will send you a magazine newsletter in PDF each two months.

You are not a robot, I am not a cyborg. Say me "Hi" first! ;)
